My July purchases : Love or Hate?

The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet
What really attracted me to this new sorbet was its cooling effect. I tried it on the back of my hand in the shop and couldn't resist picking one up. How it stays cool in this weather is beyond me, but it really does work. You can even put it in the fridge for a few minutes if it's a particularly hot day. The moisturising sorbet is also not greasy in the slightest, which is great for hot and humid days.

Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer
Like most bloggers I already feel like I've found my Holy Grail concealer in the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. However, earlier on this month I was hunting for a concealer for graduation. In order to avoid flashback in photos I needed an SPF free concealer, which is where this one comes in. It was recommended to me, and I haven't been disappointed. The lightest shade matches me perfectly, and the coverage is good. It certainly fulfilled its purpose on the day.

Groovy Food Virgin Coconut Oil
This is definitely a 'blogger made me buy it' product. Jess from Paint By Numbers' post (here) sold it to me completely. I've been using it post-cleanser as an intensive moisturiser overnight, and my skin has definitely improved. My pores have reduced in size, blemishes are fading and oiliness is being controlled. I can't wait to continue using it!

Soap and Glory The Breakfast Scrub
This stuff. I've fallen head over heels for its maple syrup scent. It spends more time next to me than it does in the bathroom because I'm obsessed. I actually dreamt that I'd been eating pancakes the other day because I'd been smelling it so much. So basically, if you're into maple syrup you need this stuff. I'm going to be repurchasing it for a long time!

Laura Mercier Crème Brûlée Honey Bath
This is the only slight disappointment amongst this month's purchases. I decided to buy the Body and Bath Crème Brûlée Luxe Quartet in Space NK's sale this month. With £35 off I couldn't resist them, especially when they smell like a dessert! Unfortunately for me, I'm actually not too keen on the smell. Out of the four products (Scrub, Body Crème, Honey Bath and candle), the Honey Bath smells the most similar to what I was expecting. The rest smell a bit different, and maybe a bit chemically? It might just be due to the fact that I was smelling the entire pot as opposed to the diluted smell you'd get after putting it in the bath or on your body. So I'll reserve judgement for now. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this one though!

All in all, July has been a pretty successful month in terms of purchases, with only one thing I wouldn't consider repurchasing. How have your purchases been this month? Anything you've fallen in love with?
